Wells Fargo Data Infrastructure

(Cloud and Data Engineering) ETL pipelines, zero-loss migrations, and release discipline for banking data systems.

At Wells Fargo (July 2023 – April 2026), I worked on backend infrastructure for data migration to Google Cloud. The work required replacing legacy technical debt without breaking anything a bank depends on.

Core Engineering

• System migration: Designed and ran the pipeline moving hundreds of millions of records from legacy on-prem systems to GCP SQL with zero data loss.
• Performance: Refactored the Python ETL layer to cut processing time by 60%.
• Release management: Ran monthly production deployment cycles, coordinating code integration across distributed teams.

What it taught me

The stack is enterprise (Teradata, Informatica), but the discipline travels. Banking data doesn't tolerate "mostly correct." Three years of that makes defensive coding, validation, and observability automatic, and I bring those habits to everything I build now.
